Life! I decided to take a solitary walk in the evening, just to have a little personal time with me. And then I envisioned a different person who was looking down at me from a distance. I could only smile at myself for I knew that different person was a figment of my imagination.

Something has happened to the city I live in. The “Princess” as I would like to call my city, had changed her dress robes. The white winter clothes had been packed for good and I saw different colors all glittering from her attire – so innocent, so fresh! The whole world was running around in her wake – just having woken up from the six month old hibernation.

The sun seemed to refuse to set because as soon as he escaped from the horizon, all other yellow lights glimmered up. The “Princess”, with one wave her wand had changed the contours of the whole world around her.

As I stepped on to the threshold of my little housing society, I found a well carpeted road of green and yellow leaves – some rolling around and some  lying peacefully. A simple wind took off some where and came searching and blew everyone’s hair, some knocking them off their feet.

A Sugarcane stall had sprung up, youngsters had parked their bikes at odd spots and gathered to gossip, little children with colorful clothes were running around playing games, shops had come up with best lighting effects, all Dogs and their entire young brigade were barking, yelping and howling at different frequencies; each trying to over-power the other – only the “Princess” knew what was going on around.

A lone moon along with few planets and stars were shining, overlooking the LIFE! The “Princess” knew the Magic and the magic had enchanted the whole town; there were no more sleepy mornings, tired evenings, cushioned blankets, thick quilts, bonfires, hurrying up inside, sleety winds, empty streets – Everything had vanished!

Ah! The pleasant feeling of everything back to momentum – the temporary lull had ended and Sun was once again gaining his strength, the young earth had shaken off her white furry covers and woken up, rubbing her eyes and yawning richly, worn her rainbow colored cloak and has spread her joy. Life is smiling back as if declaring end of a cold and frozen era! Everything right and just perfect in balance as if this is how it is meant to be – the surroundings that are so tasty, full of zeal and divinity that stepping out into the world is like taking a new birth.

Nature’s freshness at her best! Just a large toast to LIFE! The “Princess” is now smiling as she will soon come up with a new Magic…
