This is possibly one of the most discussed subject. People and their love for being active and better after sunset. A lot of jobs too, go around the clock. Often it is thought that people are able to function better in the early morning. I am going to dare to deviate from subject and go towards medical science that claims that our bodies are fully functional and at peak of our best in the early morning.
That is not entirely true for all of us. What with most of our lives being governed by our jobs from where we leave late in the evening, the long commute, the entire cycle of resting and rejuvenating is pushed by few hours. And we can agree that on most of the days (and now since it is summer), people are slouching through the day because one can barely step in the sun.
So, we are comfortably squished with bare minimum performance or activities during the day. For me, I have always been a night person – even as a child. The whole day was for running around the world and achieving things. Come night when things go dark and slow, I would align my personal agendas and tackle them one after the other.
The silence of the world and the bustle of the city would have died down. Having said that, it gives clarity in thought and allows to think and feel elaborately. It allows you to be think, plan and execute. My friends from the creative side of the world will know that how much energy a sunset and twinkling sky can instill.
Though I am a big fan of sun and bright light, my productiveness peaks after sunset. The mild weather, slight breeze, cozy atmosphere and the general peace and quiet help me with concentrating on task at hand. Yes, like all my contemporary creatures of night, my creativity crawls with the middle of the night.
As a matter of fact, as I am writing this, the starlight has gained the center-stage. I just looked out of the window at my favorite star. It is midnight on a warm, April season and the generic noise has died down. So, all that remains is to finish this blog and get some rest in a while.
