The usual ones

I will be honest I am not a fruit person. I rarely eat fruits. Once in a month. If I can beat myself to do it. If you ask me to list 5, I am going to have to crack my skull – but why not?

1. Lemon – Love lemon and making lemonade. Lemonade is possibly the only exception. I have it daily. The citrus gets me to feel better after a meal and on a hot day, a cold lemonade is all that you really want to thrive happily. Somedays, lemonade is juice for survival.

    2. Watermelon – That is the fruit of the world. Anywhere and everywhere you get watermelons and to be honest, a subcontinent like India is always going to prefer watermelon – thanks to the hot and humid climate we have 8 out of 12 months. So, cheers to watermelon and the good tidings it brings.

    3. Grapes – Who doesn’t like them? You can eat them without a conscious effort and all you need to do is make sure you can never have too many grapes. Grapes, I believe, are like the popcorn of vegetable kingdom. I am okay with them being green or black ones. Color doesn’t matter – taste does. And I would like to meet a person who still doesn’t like a good glass of wine.

    4. Apples – Like grapes, I like them green and red. Good apple really leaves a long lasting taste lingering on your tongue. Apples according to me are supposed to have a mild sweetness to it that elevates the whole experience. On top of it, I would prefer every bite crispy. Apples are the first love – the forbidden fruit!

    5. Strawberry / Blueberry – I have very less experience with them. But I love the berries. Strawberries in ice-cream and blueberries in chocolates are heaven – aren’t they? Though rare on occasions, I love to gorge on these two specific berries. I simply love them. Don’t know why.

    1. Your number two and mine are the same. Also, I totally agree with the grapes one. Those are my all time favourite. They are perfect in size and taste and what ever form they choose to appear in; fruit or wine.
