Here I am about to share the kind of people I meet on the streets, in my neighborhood, at places and parties and offices and at random shops.

They are actually funny people and their perspective can take you for surprise but honestly, if they are thinking like that I am sure a lot of others are thinking like them.

This has got nothing to do with anything others have quoted to me – It is purely based on my hands on experience.

Person #1  – Tum kya job karti ho?

Me (With a premonition I am going to hate this conversation) – Ahmedabad mein, Software company mein hu.

Person #1 – IT mein kya hai profile?

Me (Already beginning to get on nerves) – Management profile.

Person #1 (Aghast and astonished) – Manager ho? Pagaar toh achhi hogi?

Me (My heart, mind and soul rolling eyes and I feel like a Daily-wage laborer). I only smile back.

Person #1 (Thinking deeply as if its costing him everything) – Pune jaana chahiye na. Bohot scope hai IT ke liye.

I grin back. [This I have heard like a million times already in 6 years of work experience]

Person #1 – Mere brother ke ladke ki wife ka bhai – TCS mein job karta hai. Tumhe agar wahaa try karna hai toh bataana.

Me [Smiling inwardly at the thoughtfulness] – Sure. Pakka. Aap hi ko contact karungi.

We part ways on a good note with a promise of me getting into TCS some glorious time of my life – I don’t know when. After I let off my steam a bit; I actually find it funny and smile more broadly.

After all he is just yet another person on the street.
