It often doesn’t strike us. But when life is going good and that you are fairly passing through it all without many hurdles to speak of, you really don’t think that you need anyone. On some rare occasion, you think absolutely nobody in this world.
And that is when – you call it fate / destiny / time – a slight inconvenience comes and you think how can you plough through this one.
Life is weird; and so are the events that happen in it. But to actually think that you could have done without anyone is foolish.
The greatest gift anyone can give is their time and their presence. Them being there at the moment – be it moments of misery or sadness or simply be part of celebration – is the greatest gift anyone give. Life drags at certain levels. People with different levels of craziness is what makes it a complete circle. Often we judge, often we misinterpret, often we badmouth. But at the end, it is the one who stands with you that counts.
Not everyone has to be a part of the long journey from the beginning to the end. We need to also understand that people come in packages and as long as their package in our life is active and they are there; we have to be eternally thankful.
The best gift that anyone gives are moments. Things are lost, memories fade and even laughter subsides because ultimately life wins the battle. But moments created by their presence in that one frame of time is eternal and it is going to be etched forever.
On that note, I thank everyone, and I wish all a very Happy New Year and Welcome 2025 with good tidings and positive aura! May we all shine in our glimmer!
