A bit of both.

Really, there is no one part that plays a major role.

Who we are is our core instinct, our core value and something that has been a part of our strength as we grow as a person and as a human in age.

Experiences have the capacity to question those instincts, morals and values.

If we believe that we only who we are or that we are only what our experiences are – both would be equally wrong.

Experiences may test our inner being.

Our inner being helps us evaluate and analyze an experience.

Both are twisting and swirling in our built as people.

That is the best part. We get to learn and we get to evolve.

The person who you were 20 years ago is not who you are right now.

And that defines growth.

Change.
